This entry is being made back home in San Diego, CA.

I had to leave the expedition today to make it back in time to teach a CPESC course in Irvine tomorrow (Monday). I had called the coordinator for the course last week to see if we could slide it to Tuesday; (there are only three people in this privately-scheduled course). Doesn't it figure that I received his voice mail affirming that I could teach on Tuesday after I arrived home this evening. Oh, well.

I hopped a flight on Skywest this morning out of Casper, WY to Salt Lake City using a companion pass that Jill arranged with United. I was the last standby allowed on the aircraft in Casper, but was not so lucky in SLC. I ended up spending a few hundred bucks to get back to San Diego on another airline. The women decided to stay in Casper where the weather promises to improve tomorrow then fly home in either one or two days. I will leave it to Kim, Kari or Jill to complete this journal for those days. I plan to meet them at Montgomery with a bottle of champagne when they get back.
