San Diego Aerospace Museum Open House
Gillespie Field (SEE) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
The Flight of Discovery team will have an exhibit open to the public illustrating the scientific, educational and aviation aspects of the upcoming 2004 expedition. Some of the aircraft to be used on the expedition will be available for viewing, including the 1940 Waco, Cessna Grand Caravan, Bell Jet Ranger II, 1942 Cessna 170A and Glastar Experimental. Pins, patches, T-shirts and other items will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to the expedition expenses. Following the exhibition, a reception will be held at the home of Carol Forrest and Mike Harding.
